Let your explorer’s spirit delight in the Saguaro Club, Rancho Sahuarita’s one-of-a-kind club exclusively for age 55+ residents of Rancho Sahuarita, Rancho Resort, and Sonora by Del Webb.

The club is unique in Southern Arizona. One of its defining characteristics is that it connects residents of multiple communities in one large activities and events club. The Saguaro Club provides active adults in Rancho Sahuarita with the chance to interact with their fellow community members, and experience a range of different events and programs especially for active adults.

Saguaro Club Outing: Tucson’s 4th Avenue Street Fair

Friday, December 7 | 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Join us for a visit to the popular 4th Avenue Street Fair in Downtown Tucson. This event is the perfect opportunity to do some of your Christmas shopping, people watch, or to check out some fabulous artwork done by local artisans. The chartered bus will depart from Club Rancho Sahuarita at 11:00 a.m. and return at approximately 3:00 p.m. There is a fee for transportation, and registration is required for this event. Participants will be responsible for the cost of their meal and any other purchases at this venue.

Explore AZ: Kitt Peak

Friday, January 25th | 3:00 – 11:30 p.m. | $40.00 per member (Includes transportation, your meal, and entrance to the venue)

Saguaro Club members are invited to take a chartered bus to Kitt Peak National Observatory. This venue houses one of the most extensive collections of telescopes anywhere in the world. Kitt Peak is located 56 miles west of Tucson.

The bus will depart from the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse promptly at 3:00 p.m. Upon arrival members will go on a guided, night tour where they will explore planets and stars by using an incredible array of radio telescopes. Saguaro Club Days Out: Tucson Gem and Mineral Show

Friday, February 8th | 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. |$5.00 per member

Saguaro Club members will take a chartered bus to attend the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. This show is one of the leading gem and jewelry events in North America for all gemstone, jewelry and mineral industry professionals. It is one of the key jewelry markets in the world. The bus will depart from the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse promptly at 11:00 a.m. A transportation fee and registration are required and space is limited. Visit ActiveNet for additional information.

Saguaro Club Indoor Movie

Friday, February 15th | 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. | Free

Saguaro Club members are invited to come and enjoy an indoor movie at the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse. There will be a pre-movie Happy Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:00 p.m. There will be complimentary popcorn and light refreshments. No registration is required for this free event.

Saguaro Club Outing: Tucson Festival of Books

Saturday, March 2nd | 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | $5.00 per member

Saguaro Club members are invited to take a chartered bus to the Tucson Festival of Books, on the University of Arizona College Campus. The Tucson Festival of Books is a free, public, celebration of authors, books, reading and literacy. You can visit the Tucson Festival of Books website to see a list of the book authors that will be there for book signings. There will be hundreds of booths to peek into, as well as a food court. Saguaro Club Explore AZ: Biosphere Tucson

Wednesday, March 20th | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | $30.00 per member (includes transportation and entrance to the venue)

Saguaro Club members will take a chartered bus to Biosphere 2. This venue serves as a unique large-scale experimental apparatus housing seven ecosystems with active research by teams of multidisciplinary scientists. Under the glass tours include a short film on Biosphere 2, a guided visit to the Tropical Rainforest, Savanna, Ocean, Marsh, Desert, Technosphere, and Lung. At the end of the tour, visitors may explore the habitat and Ocean Gallery on their own. The bus will depart from the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse promptly at 9:00 a.m. Registration and a fee are required.
