Autism Awareness Month

Each April, the nation celebrates Autism Awareness Month. The official kick off begins on World Autism Awareness Day, on April 2nd of each year. Rancho Sahuarita, in collaboration with ‘Light It Up Blue’, recently held an event to celebrate this initiative. Light It Up Blue is “a unique global initiative that kicks-off Autism Awareness Month and helps raise awareness about autism. In honor of this historic day, many iconic landmarks, hotels, sporting venues, concert halls, museums, bridges and retail stores are among the hundreds of thousands of homes and communities that take part to Light It Up Blue.” The Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse is similarly taking part in this effort, by continuing to light the facility up blue for the entire month of April.
