Introducing the Saguaro Club for Active Adults

Saguaro Club logoRancho Sahuarita is offering a fresh take on activities and events for active adults in 2015. In January, Rancho Sahuarita will launch the Saguaro Club, an exclusive, membership-based club for residents of Rancho Sahuarita, Rancho Resort, and Sonora who are 55 and older.

The Saguaro Club will organize exclusive events for club members, and will include additional benefits for members, like guest passes to Club Rancho Sahuarita. Residents must be members of the Saguaro Club to attend these events and to receive other Saguaro Club benefits.

“The way we think of it, it’s kind of like Disney World,” says Michelle Moreno, campus director at Club Rancho Sahuarita. “There is one Disney World, but each park, like the Magic Kingdom or Epcot, is separate and apart from the others. Rancho Sahuarita is similar; we are one master plan, but there are separate communities within Rancho Sahuarita.”

This inter-community program will connect active adults throughout the entire Rancho Sahuarita master plan in a program that hasn’t been done anywhere else in the country with dozens of social and educational events each year.

“As far as we know, Rancho Sahuarita is the first master plan to offer joint programming across communities,” says Rancho Sahuarita founder Bob Sharpe. “It’s something really special, and a unique opportunity for residents of all three communities to interact and enjoy the benefits of living in a master planned community.”

Planned Saguaro Club events include happy hours, excursions throughout Southern Arizona and concerts. To view the upcoming events, visit myranchosahuarita.com/saguaroclub.
