  • Reservations are not required.
    • A limited number of children will be admitted per hour to help ensure proper distancing.
      • A maximum of 7 children will be allowed in the room.
  • Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a parent for the duration they are in the room.
  • Residents 13 years of age and older can enter and leave at their discretion.
  • Usage of the room is limited to 1 and 1/2 hours per child.

Additional Policies for the Pre-Teen Room:
  • In an effort to minimize items brought into the Pre-Teen Room, each child may enter with only one backpack
    • No food or drinks are permitted.
  • No privately owned video games may be brought in to play on Pre-Teen Room gaming systems.
  • Children, from different households, should maintain physical distancing, to the extent possible.
  • Board Games and other items in the room have been placed so appropriate physical distancing can be practiced. Items not readily able to be disinfected have been removed from the area.
  • Upon request, staff will allow children to go to the nearest restroom located in the Kids Club building. Staff will stand at Pre-Teen Room door and observe the child walk down to the restroom and back.
Face Mask Protocol:
  • Since children under the age of 12 years of age are ineligible to be vaccinated, children are considered non-vaccinated and the CDC recommends they wear masks and social distance.
    • In keeping with this, children 5 years and older should wear a mask covering their mouth and nose when utilizing the Pre-Teen Room.
    • Parents should teach and reinforce the consistent and correct use of masks for children of the appropriate age.
    • According to the CDC, a mask is NOT a substitute for physical distancing. Masks should still be worn in addition to physical distancing. Wearing a mask is especially important indoors and when physical distancing is difficult to implement or maintain while providing care to young children.

  • Golf equipment and sport balls may be requested by residents to be issued by staff. All equipment will be sanitized between each use.
  • Trikes may also be issued upon request. These will also be sanitized between each use.
