Sahuarita Spooktacular Returns for Another Year!

It’s time to pull out your Halloween costumes and get your candy buckets ready – all in preparation for the spookiest time of the year. The Town of Sahuarita, Rancho Sahuarita, Common Ground Church and Rural Metro are partnering together again to bring the community one of the most attended events of the year – Sahuarita Spooktacular!

The 6th Annual Sahuarita Halloween Spooktacular will take place on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Sahuarita Town Center. Children can enjoy a haunted house (put on by Rural Metro), carnival games, Ferris wheel, food vendors, a DJ, and more.

Plus the Trunk or Treat makes its return this year, where children will make their rounds collecting treats and goodies from the trunks and tailgates of the 80 decorated cars and trucks, all in a safe environment. Canned food donations, to benefit the Sahuarita Food Bank, will be collected for admission (and are much appreciated!) (To register for the Trunk or Treat, please contact Jamie@commongroundarizona.com.)

Parking for the event will be available this year in multiple spots. Shuttles will be available from Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse and Anza School, and some parking will be available at Copper View Elementary and the Sahuarita Arizona Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (at the Sahuarita Town Center). Parking for the disabled will also be available at the SunTran Park and Ride (at Desert Gem and Sahuarita Center Way). Please visit ActiveNet for more information about this or any of the elements of this event.

The entire family is invited to stop by and enjoy this fun filled fall evening. You won’t want to miss it!
