Spicy Sweet Potatoes
Spice up your sweet potatoes with this simple and versatile recipe from Fitness Coordinator, Leilani Washington! Mix things up and change the toppings and spices added. You can really play around with just about any spice and topping depending on what flavor you want. This is my favorite combination!
What you will need:
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried cilantro
- Pinch of salt
- Shredded cheese
- Sour cream
- Chopped green onions
Step 1: Take 2 sweet potatoes and slice thin. Preheat oven to 400.
Step 2: Place sweet potatoes, olive oil, and spices into bowl and toss.
Step 3: Place on a baking sheet and put it into an oven for 30 – 40 minutes (depending on how crispy you like them).
Step 4: Remove from oven, then top with the sour cream, cheese and green onions (or whatever other topping combos you can dream up). Enjoy!
