Summer 2017 Look Back

It’s safe to say that summer 2017 has been one for the books! Between the dozens of special events that took place at Rancho Sahuarita; from the thousands of residents that turned out to enjoy the Splash Park at the Clubhouse, to the hundreds of children that learned to swim and the importance of water safety as part of the Aquatics program; this season has definitely been one to remember!

This summer, residents came out to enjoy special events like the Carondelet Be Well Summer Camps and special summer-themed healthy living lectures. The 4th of July attracted thousands, and included food, music, entertainment, and of course – FIREWORKS, right on the lake! The Flamingo Splash Pad drew record numbers, as the youngest of residents splashed and played under the flamingos’ bills, which dump water over the heads of lots of laughing little ones.

The summer season will come to a close with the special annual Labor Day End of Summer Closing Celebration for the Splash Park, happening this Saturday, September 2nd from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Enjoy the long weekend and take advantage of the Splash Park, before it closes officially for the summer, on Labor Day.
