Tennis and Pickleball Courts Reopen June 19th

The Tennis and Pickleball Courts at Club Rancho Sahuarita will reopen, with new procedures and processes in place, on Friday, June 19th.

 

Hours of Operation for Tennis:

Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturdays: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sundays: 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.

 

Hours of Operation for Pickleball:

Mondays and Fridays: 7:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Tuesdays: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Sundays: 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.

 

The Courts will operate with reduced hours, using reservation blocks, to allow for proper social distancing.

  • Residents can make ONE reservation per day, and are limited to a two- hour window.
  • To book a reservation block:
    • Beginning Wednesday, June 17th you may contact the Clubhouse at 520-207-7730 to make a reservation.
    • Reservations may also be made by emailing reservations@ranchosahuarita.com.
    • Reservations can be made a maximum of 48 hours in advance during hours of operation.
    • When making your reservation, please be prepared to give the names of all Residents attending with you.
    • There is a limit of 2 Residents per reservation. To help ensure social distancing, NO doubles play will be permitted.

Guidelines:

  • During Pickleball hours, the nets are set up on Tennis Court #2 for Pickleball enthusiasts.
    • Tennis Court #1 will be available for tennis play.
  • The Pickleball sessions will have only two courts available for play instead of the original four.┬áThis allows for proper social distancing.
    • During non-Pickleball hours, both courts will be available for Tennis play.
  • Borrowing of equipment from the Clubhouse (paddles and balls) will not be available.┬áPlease remember to bring your own equipment.
  • Play time must be reserved in 1 hour windows, with a limit of 2 hours per day.
  • No organized play please. Only reserved players should be on the courts.
  • No spectators will be permitted into the Clubhouse area.
  • Hourly disinfection of the hard surfaces will be completed by staff.
  • Hand sanitizer, as well as disinfectant and paper towels will be available for Resident use.
  • The restrooms, in the Kids Club building, will be available for player use.
  • No locker rooms or showers will be accessible.
  • Residents are permitted to bring in one bag with their essentials.
  • Please remember all water fountains are unavailable, so please remember to bring your own water.
