Health & Wellness

Over 30 free Health and Wellness classes are offered each week at Club Rancho Sahuarita. A selection of fee-based classes are also available for residents to opt into if they choose. So whether you consider yourself a marathon runner or a yogi, we are sure you will find what you are looking for.

Ventana Fitness Center

Included in your dues is also your unlimited use of the gym facilities at the Clubhouse, at the Ventana Fitness Center.

The center is complete with state-of-the-art cardio and resistance equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, free weights, bicycles and circuit equipment.

Residents must use their keycard to access the gym. Residents must be 16 years of age or older to use the gym unsupervised. Children 13-15 may use the fitness center also; just with parental supervision. (Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the gym.)

Club Rancho Sahuarita offers over 30 fitness classes to residents per week. Everything from yoga and water aerobics, to boot camp and indoor cycling.

For more information about the classes offered, be sure to pick up your copy of the most current Village Talk, or visit the Class Schedule page on this site.

Personal Training

The Health and Wellness Team at Club Rancho Sahuarita also provides a list of authorized Personal Trainers, who are contracted and allowed to offer Personal Training Services to our residents out of the the Clubhouse gym. Only trainers who are authorized are permitted to offer the service in our facility. Residents who choose to hire a trainer work with them and pay them directly.

For information about the various Personal Trainers, visit Club Rancho Sahuarita, and view the “Trainer Board” (available in the Fitness Center.)

Healthy Living Lecture Series

In Spring of 2016, Rancho Sahuarita introduced its newest lifestyle series, the “Healthy Living Lectures.” These lectures are designed to give residents access to helpful and easy tips to aid them in living their best and healthiest lives. Our staff nutritionist/registered dietician, Sarah Marrs, leads many of these lectures.

Past topics have included “A New Year, a New You”, “Eating Healthy While Eating Out” and more. Various organizations also offer lectures in the series, with topics like hospice care and others. Visit ActiveNet here to get more information.
