Summer 2018 Wrap Up in Rancho Sahuarita

Wrap up the summer season with Rancho Sahuarita this year by attending any of our special end-of-summer events and classes, by kicking off the new school year right, by taking in the great outdoors or by doing your part to help make a difference in the lives of others!

Get Connected at Rancho Sahuarita Events:

August event highlights include Canoe Days, this year’s “Glow Up the Night” Teen Lock In, and a trip by the Saguaro Club to Laffs Comedy Club in Tucson. Plus, August sees the return of monthly events like Coffee Socials, Story Time for Tots and Bingo Madness from their summertime break!

Plus, be sure to take advantage of the Splash Park at the Clubhouse, which will be closing officially for the summer on Labor Day weekend.

Get Your Kids Off to a Good Start in School

The month of August is here, and that means that the new school year is right around the corner for residents. The new school year can be really exciting for children, but it can also be a little overwhelming. Practice good habits like healthy snack-packing, dedicated homework time, getting and staying organized and committing to having dinner as a family. Habits like these can help you and your kids get excited and help them start off the new school year set up for success.

Get Outside and Get Moving:

Get outside and enjoy the changing seasons in Southern Arizona on any of the community’s trails. On any given day, you can find your fellow residents jogging, biking, or using the trails to get from point A to point B. Plus, there are lots of outdoor fitness classes that you can take advantage of.

Give Back:

Wind down the summer season by giving back! Start going through your warm weather clothing that your children have outgrown or you don’t want anymore, and prep it to donate to charity. Or commit to making time to volunteer at a local shelter or organization. There is no time better than the present to help others!

So celebrate and reflect back on all the excitement that summer 2018 held, and join us in winding down the season this month.
